Montreal: La Binerie

Nestled in the heart of the Plateau Mont Royal district of Montreal, La Binerie – founded by Léonide Lussier in 1938 – is the last diner in the city to serve serve traditional Québecois food year round. Otherwise, most Montrealers only get to eat these dishes at a cabane à sucre, an annual winter sugar shack in celebration of the maple syrup harvest.
